Creating the world's best batteries.
We put our full support behind
passionate engineers every day.

After joining, I gained experience in general affairs, managing office equipment and supplies. The transfer decision came just as I was starting to think that I wanted to broaden the scope of my work. Anticipating to use the opportunity for advancing my career, I began working at this company in August 2023.
I faced the task of building both the "hard" aspects like office facilities and the "soft" aspects like work regulations from scratch for the new office. At first, I often felt confused by the many tasks I had no experience carrying out. However, on the flip side, this meant that I was entrusted with the significant task of establishing a new company as a young employee. I pondered how we could create an office where everyone wants to come to work, and how we'd build rules and an atmosphere where everyone can work energetically. By tackling these tasks creatively and proactively, I found new enjoyment and fulfillment in my work.
The company's atmosphere, where young people's opinions are listened to and positively received, also encouraged me to take on challenges. Being able to step into action without being bound by precedents, seeing setbacks as "learning" rather than "failure" and moving forward—this creates a culture where young employees like us can grow freely.

Our company adopts flexible working styles tailored to modern times, such as a flex-time system without core hours and remote work options. Choosing to work from home or the office based on the day's tasks and freely adjusting when to clock in allows for self-management and working in a way that suits oneself, which leads to the enjoyment of working.
Actively designing systems that ensure ease of working and creating an environment where work is enjoyable is my mission as a member of human resources and general affairs. To this end, I regularly observe employees' situations and existing rules closely to find areas for improvement.
Recently, this approach led to the introduction of a dinner provisions for those working overtime. Seeing the researchers engrossed in their work inspired the idea. Seeing employees being devoted to their work not only from necessity but also for enjoyment, we decided to support maintain their health by providing dinner instead of simply reducing overtime. This idea was well-received by the research and development team, and I received many words of appreciation.

As I am not an engineer, I cannot support my colleagues' goal of creating the world's best batteries from a technical perspective. However, by creating an environment where engineers can carry out development smoothly and enjoyably, I can contribute to achieving that goal. Driven by such motivation, my goal is to spread joy among colleagues.
In the future, I plan to try my hand at recruitment and personnel development tasks. With perspective gained from observing the company comprehensively, I aim to recruit and develop talents whose presence will bring joy to current colleagues.
There was a time when I viewed work as "accurately performing assigned tasks." However, being involved in establishing our company completely changed that perspective. I realized that I enjoy taking on new challenges and making proactive proposals through my work. I want to keep improving upon this enjoyable working environment and maintain this mindset as we move forward.
